JAGADISH POUDEL – ENACTING SOCIAL JUSTICE IN TEACHING FIRST-YEAR WRITING COURSE AT THE UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL IN THE US: SOME CONSIDERATIONS

Pedagogy, assignment, and assessment can play a vital role in ensuring justice to multilingual writers in First-Year Writing classes at the undergraduate level. In this presentation, I intend to discuss briefly these three aspects and offer some strategies that we can embrace for enacting social justice in teaching the First-Year Writing course.
